Am I Eligible for a Jordan eVisa?
Before preparing your documents, verify that you meet the eligibility requirements below.
Standard nationalities
Your country appears on the eligible countries list with no asterisk — you can apply for the eVisa with a valid passport only.
* Nationalities — you must additionally provide ONE of the following:
- A residence permit valid for at least 6 months in one of the Jordan eVisa eligible countries
- A Schengen visa or US visa valid for at least 6 months
- Plus a return ticket is required
** Nationalities — you must additionally provide ONE of the following:
- A return ticket AND a Schengen/US visa not expiring within the next 6 months
- OR at least 6 months residence in an eligible country (Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Kuwait, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Oman, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Republic of Korea, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UAE, UK, USA)

Documents Required to Apply for Jordan eVisa
Check if you have all the necessary documents before starting the application process for a Jordan visit visa:
- a passport with a validity period of at least 6 months
- a copy of a valid professional license (if the visa application is submitted by a corporation or organization)
- the applicant's residence permit copy (if the country of residence is different from the country of origin and does not meet the 6-month requirement)
- copy of the passport or residence permit from the applicant owner/sponsor
In the case of different Jordan visa types, you mainly need to have a valid passport.
Documents Required on Arrival
Proper authorities will check the following documents on arrival, so prepare before your travel:
- a passport valid for at least 6 months
- a printed copy of the eVisa to Jordan
- return or onward flight confirmation
- residence permit or qualifying visa (if applicable for your nationality)
What Happens If My Application Is Rejected?
Applications are typically rejected for the following reasons:
- Missing or incorrect documents
- Passport expires within 6 months of planned entry
- Residence permit does not meet the minimum validity requirement
- Name on the application form does not match the passport exactly
- Poor-quality document scans (blurry, cropped, or too dark)
- Return ticket not provided (required for * and ** nationalities)
