Have the following ready before opening the application form. The whole process takes about 15–20 minutes.

Step-by-Step Application Guide
Step 1 — Fill in the application form
- Full name exactly as in passport — name mismatch is the most common rejection cause
- Passport number, country of issue, issue and expiry dates
- Date and planned port of entry
- Purpose of visit (tourist / business / transit)
- Accommodation address in Jordan
- Contact details and email address
Step 2 — Upload documents
- Passport bio page scan
- Passport-style photo (white background, no shadows, under 2MB)
- Residence permit or qualifying visa (if required for your nationality)
- Return flight confirmation
Step 3 — Pay the fee
- Accepted: Visa, Mastercard, PayPal
- You receive a confirmation email with your Application ID immediately
- Save the Application ID — you will need it to track your application
Step 4 — Wait for processing
- Standard processing: a few business days
- Recommendation: apply at least 7 days before travel
Step 5 — Receive and print your eVisa
- Arrives by email as a PDF attachment
- Printing is required — border officers need a paper copy

Documents Necessary to Apply
Besides the eligibility requirements, travelers must prepare the essential documents:
- a passport that won't expire within the next 6 months
- a residence permit (when residing in a non-origin country for less than 6 months, in case of a visit visa)
- an application owner/sponsor's passport copy (for a visit visa)
- a residence permit copy of the application owner (for a visit visa if the owner has residency in Jordan)
- professions license copy that is valid (if companies or institutions apply online for a visa)
Jordan eVisa Processing Time
The processing time is usually a few business days. You will complete the application form within minutes. After approval, you will receive your eVisa in PDF form via email — remember to print it out and bring it with a valid passport on arrival.
How to Check Your Application Status
After submitting your application, all status updates are sent by email. You can also check the status directly on the official Jordanian government portal at eservices.moi.gov.jo using your Application ID and passport number.
If you have not received a decision after 5 business days: check your spam/junk folder, verify your Application ID is correct, or contact us for follow-up assistance.
